Kappa Bioscience is the innovative leader and first mover with high purity vitamin K2 as menaquinone-7 (MK-7).
Kappa Bioscience is a Norwegian based entity with extensive knowledge about vitamins and vitamin K2 in particular. Kappa Bioscience is currently the only vendor with vitamin K2 as pure MK-7 in various formulations, following a traditional vitamin production process with proprietary and innovative new steps.
Vitamin K2 for food supplements and fortified food
The company was founded in December 2006 and its core assets consist of patents covering the production of pure vitamin K2 as menaquinone-7. Our main focus is to develop vitamin K2 for the food supplement and the fortified foods market. As the vitamin K2 is currently gaining momentum in the US and in the EU, it is our intention to serve the market with well characterized, pure and competitive menaquinone-7 products. We are proud to launch the first man-made menaquionone-7 in its natural form - as K2VITAL™. The products have been developed in close collaboration with outstanding Norwegian and international scientists, who have been able to successfully accomplish the difficult process of producing menaquinone-7.
Kappa Bioscience intends to serve large as well as smaller customers with high quality products readily adaptable to the customers’ needs. Our research is conducted globally, production is established in the US and our marketing and sales activities are managed from Norway and the US.
